In today’s EVOLVE Short we discuss the question “when did you overcome your homophobia, if you had it?”
This is the first in a series of shorts where we will explore the topics of overcoming prejudice in our personal lives and challenging the question of how we can become a force for change in the larger society to commit and be an ally to anyone who may need an extra voice, a partnership or a supporting hand.
At EVOLVE we believe that prejudices and pre-conceived notions need to be examined and challenged in order for us to to EVOLVE as individuals and then as a society. This isn’t some “woke” theory...just basic human evolution and growth born from respect, honor and love. You and I can be different in some ways...but in so many ways we are the same. The sooner we can accept that fact and find common ground of love, mutual respect and understanding the sooner we will EVOLVE and create beautiful things together.
